Huarong International Repays US$250 Million Bonds on Schedule
China Huarong Completes Payment of RMB43.4 Billion Maturing Bonds In Full On Schedule Since 1 Apr.
On 23 June, 2021, Huarong International completed the payment of the 364-day US$250 million bonds issued on 24 June, 2020, and the funds for the principal and interest payments were fully transferred to the designated account.
China Huarong has always fulfilled its debt repayment obligations in a responsible manner. From 1 April to 23 June, China Huarong and its subsidiaries repaid RMB43.466 billion on a total of 51 maturing domestic and overseas bonds on time, which included 4 overseas bonds equivalent to RMB12.230 billion, and 47 domestic bonds (including deposit certificates of Huarong Xiangjiang Bank) totaling RMB31.236 billion. At present, China Huarong’s operations are carried out normally with sufficient reserves, and proper arrangements and preparations of reserves have been made for the payment of maturing bonds in the future.
